The “Guitar Keeper” cradle is attached to a wall mount of North American hardwood, handcrafted by local Amish craftsmen. There are four species of hardwood available (Cherry, Oak, Ash and Black Walnut). Natural wood color may vary.

The “Guitar Keeper” yoke may be too narrow for some classical and bass guitars, in which case, please consider the original CC01. We recommend measuring the width of your guitar neck to choose the appropriate yoke.

Installation And Assembly

Choose location on the wall for hanger. Press screws through mounting holes of hanger into wall using a phillips screwdriver. If a wall stud is not found, these pilot holes are necessary for installing the drywall anchors. To do this, use the screwdriver to push and turn the toggle clockwise until flush. Remount hanger with screw into anchors. DO NOT REUSE ANCHORS. The weight limit for use of this hanger is 15lbs or less.

Then insert the cradle into the threaded hole of the block. Turn it clockwise until snug, and the cradle arms point upward. The cradle width can be adjusted to fit your instrument.

Questions about nitrocellulose?

The material used in the CC01K String Swings will not eat into the nitro of your guitar like most foams and rubbers do. Fender, Gibson, and Martin, all use String Swing products in their showrooms, and for trade shows on their standard and high nitro finished guitars. However, String Swing is unable to make an unconditional guarantee that no marking will ever occur.

If you use nitrocellulose, please read String Swing's safety statement here.
