Dunlop manufactures 59 varieties of slides, which are divided by their material composition, wall thickness and sizing. There are four varieties of glass slide, heavy wall, medium wall, thin wall and flared. The glass slide will provide enough heft to play on thicker acoustic strings but will not be too cumbersome for electric all will providing a smooth, warm tone.
