This is a class for people who have always wanted to play music and are eager to learn, but don’t know where to start. The ukulele is the ultimate gateway instrument. Learning the ukulele can lead to playing guitar or banjo or any other stringed instrument, or it can be enjoyed on its’ own. Students in this group class will learn how to tune the instrument, how to master dozens of simple chords, and how to accompany themselves or musicians with a variety of useful strumming and picking styles. With only six lessons, Pete Rivard will send you off with enough subject matter to work on for months, and enough technique to join in college dorm jams or family sing-a-longs.
Class Dates: April 8th, 2013- May 13th, 2013
Class Day/Time: Monday, 5:45pm-6:30pm
